Drew: It's easier to look for (and find) a job. It's easier to get your homework done (esp. a term paper). Not having the internet, puts your children at a disadvantage in terms of education and access to information.

All the books, teachers' assignments, all the school communications, etc. The high-speed facilitates the ease of use and being able to work seamlessly without those interruptions that come from the little spinning wheel when you're waiting for stuff to download.
