Language has to matter. Just like people were not slaves, they were enslaved people. Slavery happened but the folks... were enslaved, they were not slaves.
I say, we're not minorities, we're the global majority. I'm super hypersensitive, when I hear 'As minorities...'. No, were not. Because when you start to repeat that, it becomes apart of your language and it just rolls off your tongue and becomes a natural thing until you know better.
