Once again, "Black History2" will be postponed. This issue is dedicated to my little brother, Alfred, who was killed the other night. The mornings are difficult because that's when I usually see his Facebook posts. We're both early risers and would sometimes message each other. Always a positive attitude. Always, as if he just won the lottery. I'm still waiting on his latest food and travel pics.
Don't forget to go see the "Black Panther" movie. It was OUTSTANDING!!! I took my son to see the advance screening on Thursday. Alfred, I got the news about you several hours before but blocked it out because I didn't want to ruin the day for your nephew (we didn't tell him). I tried to get pumped up on the way to the movies and you were the first person I wanted to call. That hit hard! The struggle was real as I tried not to let the tears fall. The conversation played out in my head. "Hey man, we're on our way to see Black Panther". And without a doubt, you would have said, "That's what's up! THAT'S WHAT'S UP!"
